All the Cool Events During ArtBasel – Miami Art Week

Not sure what to do for Miami Art Week (aka ArtBasel)? Miami Art Week is only 2 weeks away and as such, attendees should already be planning their schedule to make the best out of the event. If you are planning on visiting what promises to be one of the best contemporary art fairs of the year, you might want to pay attention.

Miami Art Week is not the only contemporary art fair taking a week in early December, as Miami Beach Art Basel will also be taking place. While both fairs will officially start on December 2nd and end on the 4th, there are more than 50 events taking place between November 11th and December 5th.

Here is a list of all of the events you can participate in during this week full of visual arts, NFTs, DeFi, Fashion, music, and more. Some descriptions have been added for events we consider might be particularly interesting to our readers.

Events on November the 30th (Tuesday)

Events on December the 1st (Wednesday)

  • OffLimits Cereal & NFT Cart: OffLimits will be debuting its novel Cereal at Art Basel Miami from December 1st to the 5th. If you get hungry, you will be able to acquire one of its bowls of cereal and get an exclusive NFT as a cereal toy, limited to 1.1k units. If you want to experience the future of cereal, the event will take place at Congruent Space in Miami’s design district. The cereal is gluten-free and vegan!
  • DCentral Miami – NFT & DeFi Conference: Justin Wu and his team are purportedly assembling a dome outside, along with two stages, one for NFTs and one for DeFi. Top speakers tilt towards day 2, December 1.

  • 321 Blast Off: Miami: If you want to know how NFTs are impacting the art industry and what to expect in the future, make sure to check this event out. Jimmy McNelis and Marguerite deCourcelle (AKA: coin_artist) will be making an appearance. Make sure to be there between 3 PM and 7PM.
  • The #miamitech happy hour + La Casa: An event for those interested in the tech industry to unwind and get ready for the next day. This side event will take place between 5:30 PM and 8 PM with a special menu presented by Blockchain.com.

Events on December the 2nd (Thursday)

  • TokenSociety presents the Business of Art & NFTs, (unofficial) VIP Lounge during Miami Art Week. Underground content from Grit Daily at TokenSociety’s central, cozy venue comes complete with couches, Irish coffees, mimosas, and lunch served.

  • The Tech/Web3 Community Brunch Meetup: A decentralized internet is imminent, it is just a matter of when it will take over. If you want to hear insights from those shaping it, make sure to join between 12 PM and 2 PM.
