Not sure what to do for Miami Art Week (aka ArtBasel)? Miami Art Week is only 2 weeks away and as such, attendees should already be planning their schedule to make the best out of the event. If you are planning on visiting what promises to be one of the best contemporary art fairs of the year, you might want to pay attention.
Miami Art Week is not the only contemporary art fair taking a week in early December, as Miami Beach Art Basel will also be taking place. While both fairs will officially start on December 2nd and end on the 4th, there are more than 50 events taking place between November 11th and December 5th.
Here is a list of all of the events you can participate in during this week full of visual arts, NFTs, DeFi, Fashion, music, and more. Some descriptions have been added for events we consider might be particularly interesting to our readers.
Events on November the 30th (Tuesday)
- NFT BZL: An event for those looking to get up to date with the latest developments of the NFT ecosystem. Grit Daily’s Miami Blockchain was acquired by Mana to form NFT BZL earlier in October. It will take place from 10 am to 5 pm ET at FTX Arena. Michelle Abbs assembled one hell of a line up.
- DCentral Miami – NFT & DeFi Conference: Justin Wu and his team are purportedly assembling a dome outside, along with two stages, one for NFTs and one for DeFi. Top speakers tilt towards day 2, December 1.
- Scope (Platinum): This is one of the most influential experiential art events you will be able to enjoy during the week. On its 20th anniversary, you can expect to have a once-in-a-lifetime contemporary art experience between 11 AM and 5 PM, all week long.

- Happy Hour & Tech/Startup Meetup: A place to socialize and network with other NFT BLZ attendees in downtown Miami. The event has a strong focus on tech and entrepreneurship and will take place from 5 pm to 9 pm.

Events on December the 1st (Wednesday)
- OffLimits Cereal & NFT Cart: OffLimits will be debuting its novel Cereal at Art Basel Miami from December 1st to the 5th. If you get hungry, you will be able to acquire one of its bowls of cereal and get an exclusive NFT as a cereal toy, limited to 1.1k units. If you want to experience the future of cereal, the event will take place at Congruent Space in Miami’s design district. The cereal is gluten-free and vegan!

- The #miamitech happy hour + La Casa: An event for those interested in the tech industry to unwind and get ready for the next day. This side event will take place between 5:30 PM and 8 PM with a special menu presented by Blockchain.com.

Events on December the 2nd (Thursday)
