Baby Yoda quickly became a cultural phenomenon after making his first appearance on the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. It’s worth noting that Baby Yoda is not the Yoda Star Wars fans are familiar with, as The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire that occurred in The Return of the Jedi. Fans quickly fell for the cuteness of Baby Yoda when he appeared in the first episode of the streaming series. Baby Yoda could be found all across the realm of the internet from memes to fan art to Time Magazine and more.

Naturally, demand for Baby Yoda merchandise grew so great that Disney’s decision not to release official Baby Yoda merchandise for the 2019 holiday season was widely lauded as a terrible decision. Unfortunately, by the time official Baby Yoda merchandise was available for purchase, COVID-19 was already spreading.

Baby Yoda Build A Bears Still For Sale

Businesses and citizens alike have been suffering due to the ever present threat of the coronavirus. Although having a Baby Yoda Build A Bear isn’t the solution to solve all the world’s current woes, perhaps if it could provide a momentary cute distraction and help keep kids at home in this dire need for social distancing, perhaps it’s worth a buy.
