Stacey Keller, Founder of Ponyback Hats: Genius Hat Tricks

Stacey Keller moved out of the basement and into a 2,000-square-foot warehouse and order packing facility in June 2021. Being a teacher, mom of three, and entrepreneur was challenging, but looking back, she would do it the same way all over again.

Prior to that, she was a teacher at Galt Collegiate Institute in Waterloo, but always knew she wanted to be an entrepreneur. On this episode of the Grit Daily Startup Podcast, Stacey said that dream came true in June 2020 when she officially launched Ponyback Inc.! It wasn’t until she went viral on TikTok in Feb. 2021 with one video which now has more than 12M views, that Ponyback made it to a six-figure business. This was the validation that Keller needed to give up teaching permanently.
